Instructions:
BT: Line-of-Sight is a line-of-sight plotter designed for use with the BattleTechÖ board game. Simply define the terrain between the attacking 'Mech & its target, and tap 'Plot'.
How to Read the Plot: If the lower dotted line passes through a ground elevation, the target has partial cover. If the upper line passes through a ground elevation, line-of-sight is blocked. Any other terrain intersected by either line effects the to-hit roll.
Optional Rule: If terrain only intersected by the lower line adds more than +3, give the target partial cover.
Installation:
- Remove any previous version of BTLOS from your device.
- Install BTLOS.prc and BTLOSPDB.prc on your PalmOS device.
- A full installation will take approximately 20K of space on your palm.
The Source:
- The PocketC Source code for BTLOS is included in a memo pad export file named 'BTLOS-1.2.0-src.mpa'. Follow your normal import process to add these memos to your PalmOS device.
- The required CControls library can be found from the PocketC web site (http://www.orbworks.com/).
- Please feel free to make changes to the source code and send them in. I'll add a Credits section to this file with your name and what patch/enhancement you sent in.
